Filament Spool Holder and Backing Plate. Keeps the spool from falling off, and straight. The backplate is really optional. It helps keep the spool aligned. For these to fit on the stock spool holder, you must cut/grind off the lip on the end (see red arrows in photo). It should be 30mm all the way around. The star like knob goes on the end, keeping the spool from coming off. After the lip is flush to the shaft, these should fit on. I used a bronze/brass bushing over the shaft, which provides a "slippery" surface for the spool to glide on. It's maybe not as great as being on bearings, but slides much better than rolling on the stock plastic (ABS?) roller. I've used so long it hasn't caused any binding. something like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/284499769429?hash=item423d81f855:g:JScAAOSw2PFhc2if 1-3/16" ID brass bronze bushing sleeve 2nd Version released. Just made an extension for other half.
