Filament Spool Holder
thingiverse
A filament spool holder designed around Hatchbox spools should work seamlessly with others. Easy to switch out, it relies on gravity to keep everything securely in place thanks to cleverly positioned cones. I aimed for a simple and visually appealing design, which proved to be quite achievable. The angle of this holder is well-suited for most printers, but its height and overhang necessitated the use of super glue to secure the feet firmly onto the blue painter's tape after they had set. The central piece can function independently if stacked boards or about two filament boxes are placed in between it. To print this spool holder, you'll need to produce two spoolholder sides and one spoolholder base. I'm excited for you to try it out and share your thoughts! Printer Settings: Printer Brand: Deltaprintr Printer Model: Deltaprintr Kit Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .150 mm Infill: 20% Notes: To ensure a stable print, I used blue tape and applied super glue to the feet after they had cooled. Given its height, it's possible that a resolution of .25 mm would yield acceptable results, but I opted for .15 mm to achieve a smooth surface on the rounded areas.
