A simple yet effective solution: the filament spool holder. Two compact pieces secured by a screw allow for adjustments to accommodate various spool widths. Not a complicated setup, but it gets the job done. Three of these units can fit neatly side-by-side within inexpensive clear plastic storage containers commonly found at my local hardware store. Adding three of my trusty filament funnels, a suitable length of bowden tubing for each, and securing them with a bowden clip on the outside of the container transforms it into a functional filament dispenser box ...\n\nA revised version was introduced in 2019-08-23 featuring an extended cylinder design to accommodate wider spools.
