A custom-made 3D printer filament spool holder designed for mounting on top of enclosures demands two sets of identical files. Two precision-engineered 608 bearings, measuring 110mm in length and 8mm in thickness, are required to complete the assembly. A sturdy metal rod, 8mm thick and 110mm long, serves as the foundation, although I recommend commencing with a slightly longer rod and trimming it down until the end caps fit snugly against the bearings. The spool holder is capable of accommodating spools with an internal diameter of at least 53mm and dimensions not exceeding 230x80mm. An update to the design includes a freestanding stand, eliminating the need for screwing it into place. I have yet to print this updated version myself; if you decide to do so, please share your results in the comments.
