ANYCUBIC I 3 MEGA boasts an extruder situated near the center of its side frame, which feeds filaments from directly below. If you place a filament on the same plane as the main body, however, it will result in oblique feeding. When the rotation of the filament spool is subpar or when the filament becomes weak and light, the filament holder shifts and the spool comes into contact with cables and other components, leading to rotation failure. This, in turn, may cause defective filament supply. To avoid this issue, many users opt to modify the extruder's installation position. I, however, chose not to remold it, so I instead mounted a metal rack and suspended the filament beneath the body for use. The spool measures 75 mm in width and 66 mm in diameter. The core rod is encased with 8 mm and 16 mm rods.
