Filament Spool - fully printable - supportless - needs double sided tape
thingiverse
Introducing a new 0.5kg PLA filament spool, I required a spoolstand and lacked home metal components. Unable to find a screw-free filament holder, I designed a printable stand. After approximately 5 hours of work, the project is complete! Please enjoy it. Carefully crafted without support structures, this design should be easily printed depending on your printer's calibration. Bridges may pose challenges, but successful printing is attainable. The stand requires gluing onto a surface; tesa powerstrips (pictured) are recommended, or use double-sided tape as an alternative. For parts with bridge builds, utilize a small file for material removal in the tubes. Print the necessary STLs with 'x2' suffix twice for assembly. Rods fit snugly into corresponding tubes; glue may be needed. Lay out tubes before inserting rods to avoid removal difficulties. Download the "Fully printable spool stand stl.zip" file for all required parts. A minimum 14x14cm print platform is necessary.
