I purchased some filament online - a whole lot cheaper than the original PLA filament, but the spools didn't quite fit into my Makerbot Replicator + so I came up with this fixture thing. Just keep the Replicator's spool drawer lifted and add the spool and secure it with the fixture. It works for spools that are 20 cm in diameter and 5.5 cm wide.
