Filament spool drill mount - updated

<p>UPDATE 2/18/2022:<br>Rev2 version will accomodate filament spools with bores from 50mm to 75mm &amp; nominal 60mm width. &nbsp;Overall height also reduced. &nbsp;2nd iteration 4:47 PM.</p><p>UPDATE 2/19/2020: &nbsp;Original version files removed.</p><p><br>This is a two part spool mount with a recess to receive a 1/4" hex shank driver bit. Then intent was to make it a bit easier to respool a filament spool that has gotten cross wound or tangled. It probably would work best used in conjuction with a desk mount spool roller like<br>https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4620323</p><p>The pictures show the drill &nbsp;mount tightened onto an eSun spool (51mm bore) and a Filacube spool (75mm bore).</p><p>The spool mount shown was printed at 0.3mm layer height. Lower layer heights would improve the thread appearance. As printed, it took only a bit of working the threads in to get it working freely. Address the initial threading on as if you are thread tapping a hole, in a bit, out a bit, then in a bit farther.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br>Notes:<br>Define the area around the hex recess for dense infill (like 99%). I used the Cura support blocker tool change settings for overlap function to define a 20mm x 20mm column as 99% infill centered on the hex recess.</p>
