I had a stash of 3/8" ball bearings gathering dust so I decided to whip up a carousel spool holder to install inside my food dehydrator to keep those troublesome hydroscopic filaments (nylons, TPUs etc.) bone dry. The geometry prints flawlessly without supports. Snap in eight 3/8" ball bearings into the central ring and you've essentially got yourself a lazy suzan. Then you can attach it to the bottom rack of your dehydrator however you please. I added loops there so you can use zip ties if you want, but I just glued mine in place. I attached a bowden tube to one of the rings in the dehydrator so I could feed filament through to my extruder and voila, I now have dry filament right at my fingertips. Depending on how hot you want to crank up your dehydrator, you may need to print this out of something other than PLA. I used PETG and it works fantastically well.
