I'm not impressed with the HIC spool holder's placement - it's simply too far away from where I need it, resulting in a mess of tangled filament that gets pulled out of control. One night during a 7-hour print, I even woke up to find it had been yanked right off the shelf! That's why this custom-made spool holder hangs directly from the bridge, keeping my filament neatly organized and within easy reach. The cleverly designed end caps are cone-shaped to fit various spool centers, making them incredibly versatile. To assemble this masterpiece, I'll need about 8 inches of all-thread - a small price to pay for the convenience it brings. Okay, so it does block access to my SD card reader, but that's not an issue for me since mine is permanently hooked up to my computer and rarely used anyway.
