Filament Spool Adapter Single Roll
thingiverse
I design this simple Filament Spool Adapter for all types of spools, big and small. Just print two adapters and assemble them with a standard 8mm shaft featuring an end-stop. Then slide in your chosen spool. Finish off by adding another adapter and securing it with the other end-stop - I promise you'll have fun using it. For ideal results, try this settings configuration: I like to keep my Layer Height at 0.2 millimeters. Shell Thickness usually measures about 0.8 millimeters. The Bottom/Top thickness should be set to a minimum of 0.6 millimeters. Set Fill Density at twenty-five percent and get great results with this speed: Print Speed - forty millimeters per second always gives the best printout quality When I heat up my printer, it starts out at two-hundred-thirty degrees Celsius and that is just right for a perfect Print Temp setting. On the bed I use Bed Temperature set at eighty degrees for perfect printing conditions. The key to good prints with any type of filament or material, regardless what you're making, support them correctly - in this case Everywhere makes great sense as my Support Type selection always helps get that perfect finish every time! Platform Adhesion also matters. To me Raft works much better than not sticking properly and often causes failures. For printing filament at a Filament Diameter of one point seven five millimeters, FLM filament flow should always be One Hundred Percent, if possible, to maintain maximum extruder output and get those extra-large 3D printed projects looking amazing! A standard speed Retraction Speed of forty millimeters per second, then apply an optimum Distance: Point Five Millimeter.
