Filament sponge for Prusa i3 Hephestos

Dust and debris can be a major issue with filament spools, causing problems with my monitor and even invading my printer's extruder. To prevent these unwanted visitors from disrupting my prints or clogging the heater, I took matters into my own hands by designing a small case for a sponge. This simple project doesn't require any support material and can be printed quickly at a layer height of 0.3mm within just 20 minutes. The design fits perfectly on my Prusa i3 Hephestos printer's extruder, but it may also work well on other printers that don't have any special mounting requirements. Feel free to customize this design as you see fit - I've included both the OpenSCAD code and a rendered STL file for your convenience.
