Filament Spinner - Suspended Spool Rotator

This allows for your 3D printer spools to be held securely above the extruder(s), and rotated horizontally to minimize poor spooling (spiral effect) that occurs with some defective filament rolls. The Problem: I had a couple of substandard rolls that produced a rigid spiral (or slinky effect) when printing. The issue seen from the most poorly spun rolls ended with failed prints due to the filament slinky effect being so severe as to wrap around printer parts and jam the extruder feed motor. At one point, the filament roll was torn from its holder and dropped onto the machine with three hours left on a print. The Solution: I designed a suspended filament holder that utilizes a 608 bearing (same as in fidget spinners) to spin the roll and counteract any possible issues of badly spun rolls in the future. I used scrap half-inch ID PVC piping, which is what the STL files fit.
