Filament Snipper with mounting holes
prusaprinters
Small, quick-to-print tool for snipping the first few mm of the filament before loading at a 45-degree angle. It is a remix of the amazing design over at thingiverse. You'll need 2x M3x16mm screws, 1x spring (preferably 7mm diameter and 20mm long), and a small piece of snip-off 9mm razor blade (endpiece or 4 sections). I added 2 holes to mount the tool to any frame or 3D printer with 2 M3 t-nuts or by drilling two M3 holes (25mm apart) into any surface. The tool has a little compartment to catch the snipped-off filament parts so they do not fly and fill up your 3D printer's place.Assembly instruction can be found thru the link to the original creator.I suggest printing this tool with supports on the ridge for the lid in the main body, and a minimum of 3 perimeters for strength and to prevent surface artifacts.
