I designed this project using 1x2 wood pieces, and I recommend scaling up or down carefully to ensure a snug fit between the wood pieces - a 20mm gap is ideal for 1x2 lumber. Keep in mind that altering the dimensions will change the overall structure. If you build it, please share a photo so I can see how it works for others as well as it did for me. **Update January 18, 2020** I made some changes to the wooden supports - instead of using lines, I used triangles. This modification prevents bowing when lots of filament is added to the shelf, making it much stronger than before.
