[Update 2022-03-26] Corrected small artifact on the main body ---------------------------------------- [Original text] This is yet another filament switch sensor that in my case also serves as a guide for the tubing . I wanted tubing that would be rigid enough that it would not overbend PLA (I had a brittle roll that would break when over bent) and 1/4" polyethylene tubing at the reno store fit the bill. It is easy to put and remove the tubing so it makes changing filament a breeze. There is also some conical guides within the switch body so the filament goes through easily. The cover snaps into place and can be removed using your nail. The electric wires exits through the back. It uses a standard mini switch. It is designed to be screwed on this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5265874 Printed using 0.4mm nozzle, 0.1mm layer height, very slow speed for the small features inside the detector body and the cover... No support required. You will have to pay attention to the size of the hole in the toggle and adjust your slicer settings so it fits loosely on the pin. There is some clearance built-in but printers tend to print holes smaller than designed. There might be a bit of cleaning required inside the holes where the filament and the tubing goes.
