Filament Sensor Switch Holder Bracket (1.75 mm)
thingiverse
My ANET E12 is now equipped with a proximity sensor that automatically trims the bed. As a result, I no longer need to use the Z-axis limit switch. To make use of this switch, I designed a bracket to convert it into a filament sensor. This sensor will alert me when the filament runs out or if it's accidentally twisted while printing. The bracket is securely mounted on the filament extruder kit. I'm using the same existing wire to connect the converted limit switch (now a filament sensor) directly to my Octopi running Raspberry Pi. To do this, I followed Chris Riley's instructions from his YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChjwIGxnivw
