Filament Sensor Mount

Filament Sensor Mount

I wasn't happy with the stock metal filament sensor mounts that came on the Sovol SV04, which are the same as some other 3D printers. I went through a few versions as I worked to complete my printer setup and settled on this design to fit all my needs. It rotates the sensor position 90 degrees to be more minimalistic looking and to help offset the opening to better align with the extruders. The top has a guide hole so the filament can feed into the sensor straight and not scrape the opening like it can with the stock mounts. The back has a lip with a tiny slot for a retractable keyring to clip into and stay put. And there is a hole in the base for the wiring clip to slide through so it can stay hidden. I designed this to not need supports, use all the same hardware, and weigh less with all the components installed than the stock metal piece does by itself. I had to apply a little force the get the bolts to start threading but after that they go in nice and tight.
