Filament sensor holder for CR10 and Ender3
thingiverse
A lot of people complain that the stock filament sensor on the CR10S keeps falling off or comes loose frequently. Many solutions exist to fix this issue. You can use glue, a clip of some kind, or simply take it off and not use it at all. Here's another option. This is a holder for the stock CR10S filament sensor designed specifically to hold the end stop board that a stock CR10S uses as a filament sensor. It is secured in place with 3M screws to the brass Z lead screw guide. You may need a couple of slightly longer M3 screws, depending on the length currently in your brass Z lead screw. Additionally, you'll require three more short M3 screws to hold the filament holder cover in place. A short piece of PTFE tube is needed for the hole where the filament enters. This was done so that the PTFE tube provides flexible guidance to the filament line as it enters the sensor. If it wears out over time, it will be easy to replace instead of having to reprint the sensor holder. This design has a fairly tight tolerance (it needs to hold the end stop securely in place) and should work for you if your printer is properly tuned. The main piece was printed with supports.
