Filament sensor fixture for Geeetech A10M
thingiverse
The A10M's filament sensor isn't locked into place, and when it sucks in the filament, the resistance of the filament causes the sensor to tilt, and when it hits its limit, it clicks and the filament advances, making the sensor horizontal again. Repeat this process. I'm not sure how much impact it has on printing, but the noise is really getting to me, and my mental health isn't exactly great either, so I built a fixture that keeps the filament sensor level. Since it's just a simple structure inserted from the side, we can easily take it out.
