I wanted to buy a filament sensor, but I saw that the prices of filament sensors are too expensive for a simple pushbutton or switch, so I wanted to print one myself.I ended up with such a project and I wanted to share it with you on Thingiverse in case you would like to benefit from it too. Here's what you need:filament_sensor.3mf file and a printer :Dswitchcablefemale cable end x2m3 5mm (x4)How to do:Print the part from the printer,Bend the metal part of the switch in the center until it fits into the part coming out of the print with a little force,(Important, do not forget) Pass both wires through the printed part and solder the wires to two of the legs of the switch and do not cut the other ends of the wires for now,Put the switch in place and screw the cover on top (m3 x2),Screw the whole piece into the free holes on the front of the extruder where the shaft is,Measure and cut the length of the cables up to the board.Solder the cable end female parts to the cables,Plug the cable into the motherboard.
