Filament Sensor Case with PTFE Tube for CR-6 SE
thingiverse
I found a little pile of filament dust that seemed to be coming from the stock Creality filament sensor. It has brass filament guides and maybe they are not smooth enough. I redesigned the filament case to accommodate some PTFE tube instead. I used a small 6mm file to create flat spots which prevent the PTFE tube from moving or rotating. You can see this in the close-up photograph. I also lightly chamfered the ends of the tube with a drill bit. The lid is printed from natural/transparent PLA so the LED shines through. There are tapered notches and holes for attaching a filament guide (not included) to the input. I've been using it for a couple days with no issues feeding or loading filament. It guides filament easily into the extruder.
