Filament Sample Tag

<p>I am quite new to 3D Printing and sometimes its quite difficult to remember how a specific filament looked like when printed. Some filaments differ quite a lot from the way they look on the spool vs printed.</p> <p>So I decided to create this simple Filament Sample Tag, something I could easily print in around 28 minutes each tag, big enough to give a good sense of how the material looks like, but small enough to attach them to a screw or key chain or something to hold them together.</p> <p>The first designs I tried engraving them but I did not like the struggles of the printer with it, nor the fact that it was taking double the time. So on this design I just left an indented rectangle that would allow me to:</p> <p>a) Write with a thin permanent marker.<br/> or<br/> b) Paste a brother label with the name and brand of the filament.</p> <p>The reason why I indented it a bit is to reduce the potential amount of friction if I decide to place all the tags together like a Pantone sample.</p> <p>The design is very simple and I did it on Tinkercard as I am still learning all this.
