I've always struggled with printing with filament samples, and I couldn't find a good solution that worked for me, so I decided to make my own. This is what I came up with. I designed it using Fusion 360. It's a very simple design, basically just a filament spool split into two parts. They will fit together easily because one side has an inner cylinder that is slightly smaller. My goal was to make it easy and quick to take on and off without having to unravel a filament sample and try to put it on a different spool.
