Filament Runout Switch
thingiverse
Update: Added a basic alarm version using a 5V magnetic buzzer (KPX-1205A) powered by three LR44 batteries. Update: Also added an IoT version of the switch. The simple filament runout switch connects directly to the extruder via a 4mmx50mm PTFE tubing, making it suitable for Titan extruders. The switch is bi-directional, and you can create a small adapter that connects to the PTFE tubing, allowing you to install the switch either near your extruder or near the filament roll. The switch uses a KW11-N micro limit switch (10x20mm) with a roller arm, designed specifically for 1.75mm filament. To secure the wiring, use cable ties on the body of the switch. Alternatively, you can bolt the switch to the body using two M2x10mm screws, though this is optional.
