Filament runout sensor mount for Ender 3
thingiverse
This mount is designed for a common filament runout sensor that has two mounting holes. The sensor doesn't need screws, it just snaps into place. The mount itself is attached to a hole on the X-axis carriage with a single M6x20 bolt. This hole has to be tapped. The filament before the sensor is guided by little pillars that keep the bending radius at 50mm. 2021-01-15 update: Added version 2, which is a little slimmer and less wide. 2021-06-06 update: Added version 3, with U-shaped bearings (U624ZZ) to avoid shrieking noises.
