Filament runout sensor case and cleaner
thingiverse
This is a clip-on body that securely holds the runout sensor (endstop switch) for an E3D full metal pro flex extruder from Tevo Tarantula. First, attach the body to the metal frame, then insert the endstop into the body, and finally clip on the cover. The cover is designed to be easily removable, allowing you to switch between sensor 1 (extr1) and sensor 2 (extr2) as needed. To prepare the holder for use, cut a foam piece slightly larger than the holder itself, taking care not to compromise its gripper edges. This will ensure that the holder remains securely contained. In Marlin firmware: Config.h: Activate the runout sensor by removing the "//" comment from this line: - #define FILAMENT_RUNOUT_SENSOR Next, navigate to pinRAMPS.h and modify the Z_MAX_PIN setting as follows: - #define Y_MIN_PIN 14 - #define Y_MAX_PIN 15 - #define Z_MIN_PIN 18 - //#define Z_MAX_PIN 19 Proceed to locate the runout sensor definition in this .h file and update the pin assignment to 19. - #define FIL_RUNOUT_PIN 19
