Filament Runout Sensor Box
prusaprinters

A box to house the Z stop circuit board to be re used as a filament runout sensor. this is only a guide component. Since there are a multitude of modifications to include extruder guides, spool holder mounting locations, and filament guides this is only the bare minimum to get you started modeling up a design to be used for your specific setup.

This design utilizes and houses the z stop circuit board, micro switch, and mounting screws. I designed 7 different models before arriving at this one. I would highly recommend doing 100% infill to ensure the screw mounting holes are secure.

You will also have to rewire the XHP-3 JST connector to be able to reach the mainboard

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Creality

Printer:

Ender 3 Pro

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

.12

Infill:

100%

Filament: Your Choice I used PLA Your Choice

Notes:

I used Cura 4.7.1 with ultimate settings, ironing off and combing on.

Category: 3D Printer Parts
