Filament runout sensor
thingiverse
I provide spare filament runout for use with a 13mm endstop, which has an optional 13mm endstop provided. I have two versions available: the V1 version is closed, while the V2 version features an open window. You can choose between two different designs: a top version that uses M2x16 bolts and nuts to attach the endstop, or a bottom design that doesn't require these bolts and nuts, as shown in the picture. You don't need to print both top and bottom versions; instead, you can print two of one model, such as the bottomV2 twice. Alternatively, you can mix and match all parts on the same base. Here is the BOM list: Top V1: - 2 M2x16 bolts and nuts - 3 M3X16 bolts and nuts Top V2: - 2 M2x16 bolts and nuts - 2 M3X16 bolts and nuts Bottom V1: - 3 M3X16 bolts and nuts Bottom V2: - 2 M3X16 bolts and nuts If you need a firmware, I have an RC8 preconfigured with single extruder and large bed available. You can find it on my GitHub page at https://github.com/Elenedeath/HE3D-Firmware/tree/Runout-Sensor. Alternatively, you can download the zip file from the same location. Please note that this firmware is for my HE3D EI3, but it may need adjustments to fit your Tevo Tarantula. However, it should work as is. To set up the endstop, simply attach it to pin D12, which is the last pin after the z min endstop. Print settings: Printer: HE3D EI3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 100% Notes: Sliced and printed with Simplify3D on a HE3D EI3
