Filament runout sensor
thingiverse
Filament runout sensor for 1.75mm filament utilizes M6 bowden tube connectors, a micro limit switch, and two M2x12mm screws and nuts. I installed a bend in the arm of the switch to shorten its length and enhance contact pressure against the filament. A chamfer on the inside of the outfeed prevents the filament from getting caught up when feeding it through. Bowden tube fittings can be purchased at https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00WE1A3D2/ref=sspa_dk_detail_1?psc=1&pd_rd_i=B00WE1A3D2 The micro switch is available at https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UBWSMKC/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Bolts can be found at https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LK6XNLU/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Nuts are available at https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H3VBRL6/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
