Filament Roller
thingiverse
I owe a debt of gratitude to Hugo Huge for allowing me to modify one of his designs to suit my needs. I've found that using this modified design has resulted in superior 3D prints with significantly reduced drag on the extruder motor. A key component is the 608 bearing, which can be easily sourced from Amazon at a reasonable cost. If you're an Ender 3 owner, this upgrade should be at the top of your priority list. To achieve optimal results, I recommend printing with raft and supports set to 50 percent infill. Be prepared to spend some time cleaning up the parts afterward to ensure smooth operation. If you've found this modification helpful, consider donating what you believe it's worth to my PayPal account via paypal.me/Midvale1955. Your contribution will help offset the time spent on design development. Thanks for your support! Enjoy your upgraded 3D printing experience.
