Filament Roller for Filament Dry Box

I use storage boxes to dispense my filament as I have two of my printers set up in my garage in Florida where it is hot and humid. The plain hole in the side dispenser just did not cut it. I saw these and printed them out. I was a bit confused about which roller dimeman used, as there are several versions of the 603 bearing. I tried the version without a bearing, and it was better than what I had, but I was not as good as if I had a bearing. I had a box of 693ZZ bearings which were 3/8/4mm so I thought I would modify the stl’s to fit these bearings. If I made the wheel as skinny as the 693’s but it was too thin. So, I decided to use two rollers and make the wheel thicker. I just stretched the wheel out to make it wide enough to hold the 2 bearings. Then I stretched out the holder front to make it fit the new wheel. But I did not take the time to resize the holes for the screws, but that was not necessary. They are a little oval, but that’s fine. As for the back part of the holder, I left it the same size as it was so the nuts would still fit in them to make for easy assembly. Bottom line, they work great. I decided to post this in case someone else needed this to fit different bearings that they had or just wanted to try this one. I made 4 of these and in one of them, one of the bearings dropped out and I did not notice until it was assembled. But using only one bearing seems to work as good as using 2. Thank you dimeman for this design. This really makes my filament flow out of the boxes. I mounted them low, and I inverted the roller, so it was on top as I keep my filament on the same level as the printer and in some cases lower. So, my filament goes up not down. Also, I printed this with a 8 nozzle so the detail is not as nice, but it functions just fine and prints twice as fast as using a 4 nozzle, but do what you like. I went with 100% infill as it is a fast print.
