Designed to work with DUAL GEARED EXTRUDER, not the stock one (or metal equivalent).

I found a similar one in the past for the stock extruder, but I couldn't find one for the dual geared extruder that has the entry point taller on the z-axis.

It requires a 608 bearing (I used a ZZ, but any other variant should work as well).

I have printed it in PLA+, but PETG, PLA, ABS or other plastic material should work as well.

All the STLs should be in the correct printing orientation and a step file is provided for anyone who wants to make changes.

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS

PLA+

0.2mm layers (you can go higher if you'd like to save a bit of time)

Support might be required for the arc in the base

Brim might be required for the spine, depending on your bed adhesion

6 perimeters walls and 15% infill (if you lower the number of perimeters, make sure to increase the infill percentage for rigidity)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Insert the 608 bearing in the wheel (it should fit very snuggly and might require a bit of force).

Drive the spine piece threw the one of the two towers hole, the bearing and the other side tower in this order.

The wheel should have enough clearence to move along the spine and align with the extruder under tension.

Partially unscrew the v wheel stack above the X axis motor.

If the screw is very tight, you can temporarily loosen the eccentric nut on the opposite side (towards the center of the printer) to loosen the whole X joint.

Slide the base over the metal frame and re-insert the v wheel screw making sure to keep the nut side towards the back of the printer.

The base has a notch for the nut easily accessible under the base.
