Filament Roller for Elagoo Neptune 2S
thingiverse
This is a filament pully / roller for the Elagoo Neptune 2S printer. This project was inspired by other similar roller made by [Holspeed](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052488), however I designed the parts from scratch using Fusion 360. The idea was to reduce the stress on the filament sensor and have a more consistent feed for the extruder motor. The body arm mounts underneath the filament sensor using the existing M3 screws. The height of the body is the same as the two existing spacers, so those are no longer needed. It uses a standard 22 mm skateboard bearing for the pully and held together by a M8 bolt. There is a 6.5 mm hole in the body that will need to be cleaned up after printing. I used a drill bit to clear out the debris. The ring will need some persuasion to snap onto the bearing. Its a tight fit. __Tips:__ Flip the orientation of the body in your slicer so it prints sideways to reduce the amount of support. I made some marks on the ring with a marker to better see to filament feed as its being pulled by the extruder.
