Filament Roll Holder
thingiverse
This is an easy-to-make, skateboard bearing-based filament holder for your 3D printer. Two interlocking halves press-fit together and bearings snap onto their pins as shown in the pictures. Made to be a lasting solution, these parts fit closely, requiring considerable force to join. A few gentle taps with a hammer are okay to get them to lock into place. Although not needed, two extra screws (#4-40, 3/8") offer even more long-lasting security. You'll need to print two of these for a fully functional set. For bearings: Amazon: B002BBGTK6 Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer Model: Simple Black Use Rafts: Yes Enable Supports: No Infill Percentage: 30% Notes: PLA is used in this project, but other materials should also work (with the exception of flexible filament). Try using another material and comment on how it went.
