Filament retention holder

Cross beam Filament retention holder When moving print head from the bed height to the upper limits of the printer, sometimes the filament would unravel or in some cases become tucked under other strands in such a way as to bind up and not allow the extruder motor to pull the filament into the hot end. I found when adding a tool changer to my ender 3 pro that the filament would sometimes get stuck on the spool, so I designed this filament holder, it simply pivots from the top cross bar and rests on the filament. The bar is designed to be printed with the flat side down. the post can also be printed flat. Assembly is quick and easy. Push the post through the cross bar hole and slide the smaller end of the post into the track of the printer’s upper beam T-slot. Rest the other end on the filament spool. Slide the post back and forth in the slot to adjust the amount of weight on the spool.
