I'm experiencing issues with excessive polygon counts when importing the original model into my slicer software. To rectify this, I employed Meshmixer's decimation tool to significantly reduce the number of polygons, resulting in a more manageable file size. Additionally, I decided to print the object on its side, which not only saved me time but also allowed for a more efficient use of material resources. This workflow adjustment could potentially save fellow makers a considerable amount of time and effort in their own printing endeavors.
