This is a precision-fitted filament reel insert designed to accommodate three distinct sizes of reels, ranging from 2.25 inches (57.15mm) to 2.34 inches (59.4mm) in diameter. I've provided the Inventor part for your convenience, allowing you to modify dimensions as needed to suit your specific reel requirements. The inner hole measures a generous 0.75 inch (19mm), ensuring effortless passage of nuts on my reel rod without any hindrance. To prevent wear and tear on the plastic insert, I applied a layer of tape to my rod. I strongly advise using a wall thickness of 1 or 2 millimeters and a fill percentage of 20-25%. This will impart a gentle flexibility to the insert, enabling it to snap into place within the reel while remaining securely anchored. The rounded curves on the design will further contribute to its retention.
