Ever ponder why manufacturers only drill one or two holes along the edge of a reel and always in the most inconvenient locations? The answer lies in simplifying the process of adding more holes to the reel. To overcome this challenge, print out a small clip, heat it until malleable, and then attach it to the reel's edge, taking care to note that not all reels have uniform edges. The clip should slide on and off with ease, allowing you to insert your filament through its hole, secure it in place along the reel's edge, and prevent frustrating tangles or a scattered mess of unwound filament lying on the floor.
