I designed a simple reel center to improve the rotation of large 5lb reels on all-thread. The cylindrical design measures 2.04 inches in diameter, with ribs extending up to 2.05 inches and a width of 4.00 inches. I anticipate this will also work well for smaller 1kg spools. To test its functionality, I printed the reel center using coarse settings and 10% infill.
