A compact yet efficient filament rack designed to provide storage while allowing for easy access to filaments. It effectively reduces the weight of spools from your printer, creating a clutter-free work area. The spools rest within ridged bearings, enabling them to rotate freely as the printer utilizes the filament. This smooth operation allows for seamless printing experiences. To accommodate multiple spools, you will need four bearings per spool. These bearings glide along the rail with minimal force, allowing for effortless adjustment to suit different-sized spools. The design leverages a 19mm curtain pole, requiring two identical lengths that can be tailored to your preference - either long or short. The bearings are 3D printed as a single unit and utilize 6mm BB's as the bearing balls. A total of 14 BB's per bearing ensures smooth operation. Version three of this design has proven to be particularly effective.
