Filament Rack
thingiverse
I designed a filament rack that fits neatly inside an IKEA Lack enclosure. Each end is comprised of four separate components, secured together with superglue. The vertical pieces are held firmly in place by supports and zip ties. When creating this design, I utilized 20 cm diameter filament spools. To accommodate their size, it's essential to slightly tilt the spools as you insert them into the enclosure. To assemble this project, you will need: Printed parts: - End pieces (2) - Support rods (4) Hardware store materials: - 12 mm wooden rods (or alternative material) (8), each approximately 50 cm in length - Zip ties The entire process of printing and assembly required approximately 1.5 days.
