I've created a shelf mounting system tailored specifically to the Ikea Ivar Rack system. The project was initiated to find an efficient solution for storing filament rolls. My design leverages the 6 mm pins provided with the IKEA Ivar shelves, seamlessly integrating them into the rack's framework. This allows for easy customization and adaptability within the system. Using TinkerCAD as my design tool, I opted for 16mm PVC pipes due to their affordability at a local hardware store. A 2-meter pipe cost less than a pack of chewing gum, making it an economical choice. The design is flexible and can be easily adapted to accommodate different dimensions of pipes. However, I'm committed to assisting anyone who may need help with modifications or alternative configurations.
