Filament \ PTFE Seal
thingiverse
I sought a method to isolate the ends of the filament within multiple PTFE tubes emerging from the sealed casing, as well as prevent moisture from rising up the tubes and seeping into the enclosure itself. To achieve this, I designed simple caps that utilize friction to securely lock the filament in place before being pushed over the PTFE tubing, creating a tight seal. Printed at 0.25mm resolution, I intentionally allowed for slight extrusion beyond the intended boundary to create a rough surface texture. This design should function effectively with PTFE tubes measuring between 4.2mm and 3mm in outer diameter.
