Filament Port for Adventurer 3
thingiverse
Like many others I was frustrated that I couldn't print with larger spools in my Flashforge Adventurer 3. I printed off some rollers (the Tush Ultimate Spool Holders - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2047554) to hold the larger spools and set about finding a suitable port to allow the filament to get into the machine whilst keeping the door shut - mainly so I can still print materials that need a warmer enclosure. I tried a few but was frustrated that the ones I tried interfered with any small Flashforge spools that I still used and I was also left with a hole in the door for air to get in. This is my solution. A single print-in-place port that allows me to get filament in through the door when I am using larger spools and to be able to close it off when I am using smaller spools internally. You will need to drill an 8-10mm hole into the door to allow the port access to the inside of the printer.
