Filament Oiler & Low Filament Alarm Accessories

This is a set of accessories designed to work seamlessly with the Low Filament Alarm, featured prominently on EngineerDog.com - https://engineerdog.com/low-filament-alarm/. Stay tuned for additional files! The Low Filament Alarm is an innovative tool that detects filament presence in any 3D printer. When your filament runs low, a siren alerts you to the situation, giving you ample time to pause and reload your filament. These accessories offer various mounts for the device and a convenient in-line oiler attachment. To use the oiler, simply insert a piece of sponge, foam, or cotton swab to wipe away dust particles from the filament, preventing clogs in the extruder. By adding a few drops of machine oil to the sponge, the filament passing through gets lubricated, easing the strain on the extruder motor. This lubrication is particularly beneficial when printing with PLA and dealing with long tubes before the filament enters the extruder. It also helps reduce friction inside the extruder below the drive-wheel, where the filament is compressed on its way down to the hot-end. To attach these accessories to a bowden tube, use PC4-M10 fittings.
