Filament Oiler/Filter for Robo3D
thingiverse
This is a maintenance kit specifically designed for the Robo3D filament feeder. A critical component extends into the printer shell, bypassing a potential problem: abraded grooves caused by filament friction. Simply add some absorbent sponge material and lubricant to get started. To set it up, first create a small pocket in the sponge by folding it around a section of filament. Insert this assembly into the filter from above, then remove the folded portion to create a channel for filament flow. Now add about 0.15 milliliters of Canola oil to the sponge using a precision syringe - but feel free to use just a few drops if that's what you have on hand. Finally, don't forget to apply some lubricant or grease to the oiler and printer casing where moving parts interact.
