The device detects any type of loss of filament movement due to out of filament, filament jam, or extruder clog by activating the Sailfish P-Stop after several seconds of non-motion. For printing brackets, set your printer to 2 shells and 15% infill with no supports as they are included in the model. Remove vertical and 45-degree supports with pliers, clean off any burrs, slide in the monitor, fasten with short M3 bolts, and avoid using long bolts that may interfere with bearings. The indicator LED shows different colors: blue for not armed (requires a 1/4 encoder rotation), green for movement detected, yellow for armed and timing out, and red for timed out, triggering P-Stop. The Bill of Materials (BOM) and instructions can be found on the main website. Additionally, this device has external pins to attach extra equipment that might cause a pause.
