I designed this device to ensure precise measurement of a filament segment with ease. Measuring the length of a filament accurately can be extremely challenging due to its tendency to become misshapen. This tool keeps the filament perfectly straight, enabling users to take accurate digital caliper readings. Simply insert the filament into the holder's opening, position one edge of your calipers in the notch provided, and read off the measurement directly. The distance from the bottom of the notch to the end of the filament is 95mm, allowing a 100mm extrusion to extend slightly beyond the opposite end, making it possible to measure accurately with precision.
