I've used the original PVC plumbing fittings and R/C aircraft wheel-hub to create new guides, which I'm further refining by honing my SolidWorks skills. With that expertise in place, I now install custom printed guides on my RoBo 3D printer, significantly upgrading its performance. These custom upgrades include two main components: the Slot Guide and the Roller Guide. The Slot Guide ensures that the filament stays centered during transport to the printhead, guaranteeing seamless operations. Items Needed for Assembly: 1x SHCS Bolt with 3x12mm threads 1x 3mm Flatwasher 1x Nylock Nut with 3mm threads Similarly, the Roller Guide effectively manages the filament's exit from the spool by preventing tangles. I had some extra details to address as this piece undergoes printing (which required clean-up after it printed a supporting structure, an easy process). Required for this Item: 1x SHCS Bolt with 3x20mm threads 1x SHCS Bolt with 3x30mm threads 3x 3mm Flatwashers 1x Nylock Nut with 3mm threads 1x Metal Spacer with a diameter of 30mm, threaded on both ends
